Contact form: when you write to us we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use them only to respond, and we delete the thread once resolved unless you ask us to keep it.

Local storage (on your device only): the site remembers your saved destinations (wishlist), theme preference, currency choice and pre-trek checklist progress in your browser. This data never leaves your device and you can erase it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Automatic technical data: like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention.

We display advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

This site is a general-audience travel guide and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.

The site is served over HTTPS. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to help you. Our pages link to external sites (e.g. official government sources, Wikimedia Commons); their privacy practices are their own — review their policies when you visit.
